In the video, Paytas, a 37-year-old content creator, shared her desire to represent California in the US House of Representatives. Living in the state with her family, she admitted that the idea initially sounded "crazy" to her as well. However, her motivation stems from a desire to make a positive impact and address the issues she sees in the world, particularly in California.
But here's where it gets controversial... Paytas attributes this political aspiration to a "vivid dream" or "vision" she had. She explained, "The idea of me being representative for California came to me in a dream. It's so vivid to me." This revelation has sparked discussions about the role of intuition and dreams in decision-making, especially in the political arena.
And this is the part most people miss... Paytas' perspective on the world has evolved since becoming a mother. She expressed concern about the state of the world and its potential dystopian future, which motivated her to take action. "I never thought of myself as political until I had kids and realized the world could be disastrous by the time they grow up," she said.
Paytas has already started outlining her potential policies, including raising the legal age for adult entertainment participation to 25. She also has a campaign slogan in mind: "California could be good." She aims to create a better system for everyone and is actively researching her options.
