Xreal Unveils Enhanced Entry-Level Personal Cinema Glasses at CES 2026
Are you on the fence about trying AR glasses, once known as personal cinemas? Xreal has arrived at CES 2026 with an upgraded version of its entry-level Xreal One glasses, first released in late 2024. The new model, named 1S, offers slightly improved specifications and a $50 price reduction.
Xreal One is a wearable spatial display that connects via USB-C to various devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and gaming consoles. It features two tiny displays in the eyecups, creating the illusion of a large screen when worn close to the eyes. The average view size is approximately 171 inches, but it can be expanded to a screen size closer to 500 inches for those with the necessary eye focus.
The enhancements are subtle but welcome, focusing on key specifications. The 1080p screens have been upgraded to 1200p full HD, the field of view increased from 50 degrees to 52 degrees, brightness boosted from 600 nits to 700 nits, and the aspect ratio expanded from 16x9 to 16x10. However, the most notable change is the price drop from $499 to $449.
Additionally, Xreal is introducing the Xreal Neo, an external battery and DisplayPort hub for the glasses. It includes a 10,000mAh power bank, extending battery life and providing better connectivity for Nintendo Switch consoles. Previously, playing with your Switch or Switch 2 required a dock. With Neo, you can eliminate this extra gadget from your bag, making it a convenient standalone purchase for $99, available now.
